I have been training in the sport of CrossFit since the age of 18. I immediaely fell in love with the sport. I initially started without any experience of weightlifting and tended to stick to the treadmill at the globo gym. I was much more focused on the prospect of losing weight than what I was physically capable of doing. My attitude to training and fitness completely change upon starting Crossfit. I gained confidence and my training began to focus on what my body was capable of. Fast forward and I became a CrossFit coach to support my way through University. Upon completing study I became a full time CrossFit Coach and Personal Trainer, focusing mainly on helping athletes develop their olympic weightlifting skills and helping new folks complete their fundamentals in the world of CrossFit.
After two years of full time coaching and a Covid Lockdown thrown in the mix, I made the decision to join the police and transitioned into a life of shift work. I coach the police CrossFit division weekly at Unity Gym and continue to offer support to anyone needing guidance in the world of health and fitness, whether thats developing Crossfit skills, weightloss goals, or an introduction into the world of weightlifting and strength training. I particularly understand those individuals who have health and fitness goals on top of battling nightshifts and a constantly changing routine.
